Fixed indoor pumphouse installation, requires floodedsuction condition (liquid level higher than pump inlet).

Limitations

  • Must be fully primed before startup; cannot automatically evacuate air from suction pipelines.  Poor tolerance for solids, debris, corrosive or abrasive media; prone to clogging if fed with sewage.  Cannot operate when installed above liquid level without auxiliary priming equipment.

  • Features  Builtin airwater separation chamber; achieves selfsuction after initial onetime filling, no repeated priming required.  Adaptable to fluctuating liquidlevel conditions.  Tradeoff: overall hydraulic efficiency is lower than standard watersupply centrifugal pumps under continuous cleanwater service.

2.3 Horizontal Chemical Pumps

  • Typical Scenarios  Petrochemical and finechemical parks: transfer acid/alkali/solvent corrosive fluids, process circulation, industrial wastewater neutralization and tankfarm loadingunloading operations.

  • Features  Configurable corrosionresistant material combinations for aggressive media.  Equipped with mechanicalseal assembly needing flush/cooling protection.  Not optimized for ordinary cleanwater supply; higher procurement and sealingmaintenance cost for pure water loops.
