Detailed Working Principles: Energy Conversion Mechanism

A water supply centrifugal pump converts mechanical energy into fluid kinetic energy and pressure energy by a high-speed rotating impeller, realizing continuous lifting & transportation of water.
- Liquid intake & low pressure formation: The motor drives the pump shaft and impeller to rotate at high speed. Liquid at the impeller center is thrown outward, forming vacuum / low pressure zone. Atmospheric or positive inlet pressure pushes fluid into the pump chamber.
- Energy conversion & pressurization: Liquid gains high-speed kinetic energy when passing through impeller blades. Entering the volute casing with a diffusing flow passage, flow velocity drops and kinetic energy is efficiently converted into pressure energy.
- High pressure output: Pressurized liquid flows out from the discharge flange and is delivered to a high-position or long-distance pipe network to complete continuous water supply circulation.
