Working Principle
- Compressed air drive
The pneumatic diaphragm pump uses compressed air as the power source. It drives the alternating reciprocating deformation of the double diaphragms through the conversion of pneumatic and mechanical energy, achieving leak-free fluid transportation.
- Air flow switching control
Compressed air periodically switches the direction of the air path through the distribution valve, pushing one side of the diaphragm to compress (discharge the fluid) while the other side of the diaphragm expands (draw in the fluid).
- one-way flow cycle
The medium flows in one direction through a one-way ball valve or plate valve, forming a continuous liquid suction and discharge cycle—a principle commonly applied in an electric diaphragm pump, just as in an air operated diaphragm pump.
