The D‑type horizontal multi‑stage pump is a single‑suction, axially‑split centrifugal pump engineered for clean water or fluids with comparable physical and chemical properties at temperatures up to 80 °C. As a robust horizontal centrifugal pump, it offers high hydraulic efficiency, a broad operating envelope, smooth and quiet running, extended service life, and simplified installation and maintenance — characteristics fully aligned with those of a premium horizontal end‑suction centrifugal pump. By adjusting the wetted materials, seal configurations, or incorporating auxiliary cooling, the same platform can also handle hot water, oils, corrosive chemicals, or abrasive slurries, making it a versatile centrifugal water pump suited for the most demanding industrial environments.

Structural Features

  • Segmented multi-stage design

This construction, characteristic of a horizontal centrifugal pump, involves a pump body consisting of a front section, a middle section, and a rear section fastened in series by long bolts.

  • Precision impeller and guide vane

By integrating a high‑efficiency hydraulic impeller profile with stationary guide vanes, the flow path is precisely directed, enabling effective conversion of kinetic energy into pressure energy while minimizing vortex‑induced losses. This design philosophy is consistently applied across our product range — whether in a standard horizontal centrifugal pump, a compact horizontal end‑suction centrifugal pump, or any general‑purpose centrifugal water pump — ensuring superior hydraulic performance in every configuration.

  • Axial force balancing device

A standard balancing disk or drum mechanism (often paired with a thrust bearing) automatically compensates for the substantial axial thrust generated by multi-stage impellers. This ensures long-term rotor stability and minimizes bearing wear.

Product Advantages

  • High head, large flow

The multi-stage tandem design is its core advantage, allowing a single pump to provide a far higher head than a single-stage pump, making it far superior to a typical horizontal end-suction centrifugal pump and outpacing conventional centrifugal water pump options for high-head applications.

  • Efficient and stable operation

Optimized hydraulic design and precision manufacturing ensure high efficiency within the rated operating range, while a balanced system effectively controls axial movement for low vibration and quiet operation.

  • Convenient and economical maintenance

Segmented structure allows the entire rotor to be withdrawn for inspection, replacement of wearing parts or increasing or decreasing the number of stages by loosening the tensioning bolts without disassembling the inlet/outlet piping and the motor.

Application Scenarios

  • Mine drainage and water supply

Coal mines, metal mines and other deep-well drainage, mining production, high pressure water supply system of the core pressurization equipment.

  • Industrial boiler water supply
Provide stable and high pressure make-up water for power station and industrial boiler, which is the key equipment for the safe operation.
